*SHIMLA: 58 kms  The Britisher's summer retreat has Old  Chalets, Shopping Centres like- The  Mall, Ridge and a wide variety of Hotels.  *KUFRI: 66 kms  Snow clad mountains in winters and a  winter carnival in Feb- March. A lovely  picnic spot in summer or winter.  *NALDERA: 70 kms  A golfer’s paradise with a 9-hole golf  course is lovely for a weekend.

*KASAULI: 21 kms  Manki  Point-a historical Hanuman  temple, A pleasant Tibetan market, A  sanitorium on naturepathy and pine clad  hills make it a favourite picnic spot.  *CHAIL:  54 kms  The summer capital of the royal house of  Patiala. The Chail Palace, The highest  cricketing pitch are the major attractions.  There is horse riding for the sportsman  spirit and beginners.
